Earphone/Headphone Pouch

These pouches are great for storing earphones, headphones or maybe other regularly used items.

Materials 

  • 12 ply yarn 

  • 8 ply yarn

  • 3.75mm hook

  • 5mm hook

  • Wool needle

Abriveations

  • R -Round

  • Ch - Chain

  • Sc - Single crochet

  • Dc - Double crochet

  • Hdc - Half double crochet

  • Sc2tog - Single crochet 2 together

  • Sl St - Slip stitch

  • St - Stitch

Patterns

Earphone Pouch

Using a 5mm hook and 12ply yarn

Ch 12

R1: Skip first ch and sc in 10 chains. In the last chain 2sc. Sc in 11 chains on the opposite side. (23sts)

R2-R8: Sc in every stitch

R9: 4sc, sc2tog, 10sc, sc2tog, 4sc

R10-R12: Sc in every stitch

Fasten off and weave in ends

Using a 3.75mm hook and 8ply yarn

Ch 34

You might need more depending on your headphones' width

 

R1: Skip first ch and sc in all chains but the last. In the last chain 2sc. Sc in all chains on the opposite side apart from the last. In the last chain 2sc.

R2-R23: Sc in every stitch

You might want to do a few extra rows depending on the length of your headphones

 

R24: Hdc, dc for the rest of the round

R25-R30: Dc in between each of the dc of the previous round.

To finish hdc, sc and then slst

Fasten off

​

Weave in the ends of the pouch.

Starting from the centre of the pouch, weave the drawstring through every 3-4 dc of the top row.
